Shock Hill is a neighborhood situated on the first hill above downtown Breckenridge and the first stop on the ski gondola from town to the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The homes in Shock Hill are large, on large lots with relatively new construction and custom built, but the neighborhood also includes a few luxury condos and duplexes. Shock Hill is also home to lots of open space such as the Breckenridge Nordic Ski Center and the Cucumber Gulch wildlife reserve. About one-tenth of the lots available for development are still vacant.
